Winston Churchill's Speech: Finest Hour
In 1941, the Battle of Britain had began. And what a finest hour it was,
too. Hitler had conquared most of Europe, and then he soon turned to
invade England.
Britain has never had a invasion on British soil
for 800 years. And Hitler made Operation: SEALION come to a reality.
Hitler knew the only way to defeat the British was to wipe out the Royal
Navy, but to do that, he had to destroy the Royal Air Force...
The
R.A.F. had pilots fresh out of school, who were known as 'The Few'.
While the Luftwaffe were only doing their job, the R.A.F. pilots were
fighting for their home. Hitler thought that he could take them out in a
week... but he was wrong, wasn't he!?
